When Love Becomes Impact: Measuring What Matters

Fri, 11 Sep 2026 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM SGT Lab 12

How do we know what is working, for whom, and where we can do better?

About this session

Behind every programme, service, and dollar committed is an act of love – a deep conviction that what we do matters. But how do we know what is working, for whom, and where we can do better?

In a world where resources are limited, impact measurement helps organisations move beyond good intentions by providing evidence on what works, enabling better decisions and better outcomes — turning purpose into action and ultimately better outcomes.

This session brings together funders and ecosystem partners for a candid conversation about the realities of measuring impact: why it matters, what gets in the way, and what has worked. It also looks ahead to how technology and AI could make measurement more accessible, timely and useful.

Impact measurement is more than a reporting requirement or a funder’s checkbox. It provides the infrastructure for organisations to learn, improve and stay true to their purpose. When evidence informs action and action leads to better outcomes, that is when love becomes impact.
