Steve Loh

Steve Loh is the Executive Director of the Lien Centre for Social Innovation at Singapore Management University. The Centre is dedicated to evidence-based, research-driven innovation that addresses systemic and persistent social problems. It does so through its research, advisory, consultancy and capacity building services to philanthropists, foundations, corporations, governments, and impact organizations.

Steve has spent almost two decades in the impact sector, pioneering evidence-based sustainable solutions with international charities and profitable social enterprises in Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Nepal, Papua New Guinea and beyond. Prior to his role at the Lien Centre, Steve was the CEO of the YMCA of Singapore, a youth-focused charity that operates social enterprises in hospitality and education. He also cofounded and was the CEO of Mercy Centre, a Singapore registered charity that empowers street ladies, the homeless and youth-at-risk. He concurrently held a senior leadership role at Youth With A Mission (YWAM), Singapore where he was the director of YWAM Medical Ships.
