If love is absent from business, leadership, and investment theses, are our systems incomplete, or is our understanding of leadership wrong?
The word love does not appear in mainstream business curricula, leadership competency frameworks, or conventional investment theses. Yet the most significant human undertakings of every era—the building of enduring communities, the creation of great art, the protection of what matters across generations have been animated by something that can only be called love.
This session starts from a different premise: what if love is not sentiment, but infrastructure? Not abstract, but an organising principle that shapes how systems are designed, governed, and sustained. Love expressed as care for life, responsibility for future generations, and stewardship for the Earth. This lab questions the role of love, as orientation, motivation, and a quality of attention, in forming leaders capable of building a wellbeing economy? Leaders who can translate values into systems where capital regenerates ecosystems, energy systems restore nature, education cultivates conscious leadership, and communities collaborate in stewardship.
