Ji Zou

Prof. Ji Zou is the CEO and President of The Energy Foundation. Prof. Zou has engaged in international climate processes for more than twenty years. He took part in the negotiations of the Paris Agreement; served as a Lead Author and Coordinating Lead Author for multiple IPCC Assessment Reports; and contributed to the work of the UN Committee of Experts on Sustainable Development Financing.

Prof. Zou served as Vice Dean, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Environment and Natural Resources of Renmin University of China. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a master’s degree in Technical Economics from Tsinghua University, and a Ph.D. in Resources and Environmental Economics from Renmin University. He has also been a visiting scholar at Harvard University and the London School of Economics and Political Science.

邹骥教授现任能源基金会首席执行官兼中国区总裁，在国际气候领域拥有二十余年的相关经验。他曾参与《巴黎协定》磋商；担任政府间气候变化专门委员会（IPCC）多份评估报告的主要作者或协调主要作者；并参与联合国可持续发展融资专家委员会相关工作。曾任中国人民大学环境与自然资源学院副院长、教授及博士生导师。分别获得清华大学环境工程学士、技术经济硕士学位，以及中国人民大学资源与环境经济学博士学位，并曾以访问学者身份在哈佛大学和伦敦政治经济学院开展研究。
