Jemilah binti Mahmood

Professor Tan Sri Dr. Jemilah Mahmood is a Malaysian medical doctor and humanitarian leader. She is the founder of MERCY Malaysia, one of the largest humanitarian organisations in Southeast Asia.

She has served as the Under-Secretary-General for Partnerships at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and as Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Malaysia on Public Health. She is a leading voice for humanitarian response, disaster risk reduction, and global health equity.
