We opened this week asking: what if love became infrastructure? By the first morning it had become a harder question. How do we live with each other? Everything we have inherited is somebody's answer to that, hardened into structure long after the people who wrote it stopped asking. In an hour, this week's agreements will be signed on this stage. Before that happens, six Impact Architects will say out loud what has to be true for those signatures to still mean something in a year, with the people signing them still in the room, not as a summary of the week, but the terms and conditions of what comes next. A commitment is a settled answer to how we will treat each other. So is a supply chain, a fund, a curriculum, a fishing right, a city plan. Every system we have inherited is somebody's answer to that question, hardened into structure long after the people who wrote it stopped asking. This hour does not create the agreements gathered here. It gathers them, so the shape they make together can be seen and witnessed. A promise made privately is an intention. A promise made in front of people who will remember it is the beginning of infrastructure.
