Ian Shih

Since 2018, Ian Shih has served as Regional Vice President, Greater China, Rockwell Automation. Grounded in the Chinese cultural spirit of “WATER” and the core value of “cross-border elevation”, Shih has solidified the unique brand positioning as the chain leader of industrial services. He leads the team to deploy integration of industry chains from upstream to downstream and the connection of end-to-end value chains, paving a path that is open, collaborative, and sustainable. Addressing the challenges in industrial and social development, Shih brings together cross-ecosystem partners to scale innovative technologies including industrial digitalization and AI globally. In addition, Shih initiates a long-term campaign known as “Climate Lighthouse” with Shanghai Climate Week to drive industrial upgrade and sustainability under a systematic network and expand what is humanly possible. Shih is appointed as National Advisor of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Industry Alliance of UNIDO, International Advisor to the UNITAR Prosperity Alliance Shanghai (PAS), and Executive Committee Member of Shanghai Climate Week. In 2024, Shih was honored with Shanghai Magnolia Silver Award.
