As artificial intelligence expands our capacity to analyse, create and execute, the true constraint on leadership is shifting from information processing to inner clarity: the ability to make sound judgements under pressure, remain honest in the face of temptation, and act from care rather than anxiety. 济世安人—serving society and bringing well-being to others— reminds us that leadership is not only about personal achievement. It begins with self-cultivation and turns human agency into responsible choices for organisations, society and the future. This session explores how inner maturity shapes strategic judgement, resilience and organisational culture; which human capacities remain irreplaceable in the age of AI; and how leaders can bring awareness, moral agency and personal practice into everyday decisions and relationships. It will also confront the tension between high performance and human exhaustion, asking how leaders can pursue excellence without building systems driven by fear and anxiety.
