The Well-Being Economy envisions an economy that directs resources toward regeneration, cultivates human flourishing, strengthens communities, restores ecosystems, and enables societies to thrive within the living boundaries of the Earth. Achieving this transformation requires more than new technologies, policies, business models, and institutions. It requires leaders capable of stewarding complex systems and building the infrastructures—human, organizational, financial, and societal—that transform good intentions into enduring systems of regeneration, resilience, and flourishing. The defining investment of the Traditional Economy was external development. The defining investment of the Well-Being Economy may be leadership capacity—cultivated through inner development and expressed through the organizations and systems we create together.
This highly interactive and experiential Action Lab is built around a simple but powerful proposition: a Well-Being Economy is not built first through new systems. It is built by leaders who transform themselves, then their organizations, and ultimately the systems they steward. Through guided reflection, experiential inner development practices, cross-sector dialogue, and collaborative learning, participants will explore their own leadership journeys while discovering practical approaches for developing leadership capacity within their organizations.
Drawing on Impact Week's "I → We → All Life" theory of change, the session demonstrates how personal transformation enables organizational transformation, which in turn drives systems transformation toward a Well-Being Economy. Participants will leave with practical tools, new relationships, and actionable strategies for cultivating the leadership needed to build regenerative, resilient, and flourishing organizations and societies.
Participants will leave with:
- A deeper understanding of their own leadership journey and the role of inner development in leading change.
- Practical tools and experiential practices for cultivating leadership capacity within themselves and their organizations.
- A practical framework connecting personal transformation → organizational transformation → systems transformation → the Well-Being Economy.
- Practical strategies for embedding stewardship, systems thinking, and regenerative leadership into organizations.
- New cross-sector relationships and collaboration opportunities to advance the Well-Being Economy.
