Tom Peacock-Nazil

As the Founder and CEO of Seven Clean Seas, Tom is passionate about challenging the status quo and creating systemic change that enables people and the ocean to thrive together. He leads a community of individuals and organisations committed to cleaning the seas and reducing their plastic footprint.

With a degree in International Business Studies, he has developed and implemented holistic, scalable, and impactful solutions across plastic neutrality, waste consultancy, river cleanups, rural and island waste management, and education.

His achievements include being named Asia Sustainability Leader of the Year by Eco-Business, winning the UNWTO Global Startup Competition 2021 for UN SDG 14: Life Below Water, and being featured on The Economist Intelligence Unit podcast. He believes the sea is truly awesome and that everyone can play a role in creating plastic-free oceans.
