Shahar Zainuddin is Managing Partner of Adamas Advisory, a strategy and corporate finance firm advising institutions and family offices on governance, impact finance, and the transition from extractive to regenerative economic systems.
He brings more than three decades of experience in global banking and finance, combining a practitioner’s insight with a systems-level perspective. As former Group CEO of Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad, he led institutional reforms to align development finance more closely with national priorities, sustainability, and long-term impact.
Today, Shahar applies this experience at the intersection of finance, education, and nature. He advocates for value-aligned financial systems that reconnect capital with the real economy and advance shared prosperity and planetary wellbeing. He serves as Advisor to TPC and Principal Architect of the OCTAVE Well-being University Project, as well as developing a 600-acre wellness haven within the Belum-Temenggor rainforest, integrating ecological restoration, community engagement, and long-term land value.
