Sandrine Dixson-Declève

Sandrine Dixson-Declève is currently serving as Commissioner for the World Health Organization (WHO) Pan-European Commission on Climate & Health. She is also Honorary President and Global Ambassador for the Club of Rome, Executive Chair of Earth4All, and leads international sustainability initiatives. With over 35 years of global leadership across climate, energy, sustainable development, and finance, Sandrine has advised a range of high-level bodies including the European Commission, the United Nations, and multiple governments.

She sits on several Non-Executive and Advisory Boards, such as EDP, BMW, Eurazeo Planetary Boundaries Fund, Leonardo Centre at Imperial College London, and Climate KIC. She also contributes as a Fellow and faculty member at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and teaches at the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium.

Sandrine is recognised as a leading international speaker, strategist, and professor, known for translating science and theory into impactful action and policy. Recently, she has co-chaired the System Transformation Hub and is widely celebrated for her work connecting climate change, health, and human development. Notably, she was honored by Reuters as a top global female trailblazer in 2023 and by GreenBiz as one of the world’s most influential women in the low-carbon economy.
