Rizza Sacra-Dejucos

Rizza Sacra-Dejucos is the Asia Regional Coordinator of High Seas Alliance. She leads the advocacy and policy work on the BBNJ Agreement in the region.

With over 10 years of experience in conservation and sustainability work, she led several national and regional campaigns with the United Nations Development Programme in the Philippines and Southeast Asia on marine conservation, circular economy, and climate action. She also worked as the Communications and Knowledge Manager of the Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia.

Rizza has a degree in Human Ecology from the University of the Philippines, and is passionate about community engagement, advancing science-based policies, and ocean diplomacy and stories.
