Nini Purwajati, Head of APAC, based in Singapore, leads Resilient Cities Network mission-critical work in Asia Pacific, including the Resilience for Communities program. With over a decade of experience collaborating with local governments across the region, she brings extensive expertise in holistic urban resilience practices, including supporting the development of city resilience strategies for Chennai, Melaka, Semarang, Jakarta, and Sydney.
Her career includes work with the 100 Resilient Cities program, Mercy Corps, UN-Habitat, and the Indonesian Ministry of Housing, alongside her teaching experience at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). Nini was also a fellow in the highly competitive 2025 Asia Foundation Development Fellows program focused on Climate Change. She holds qualifications in urban planning from Universitas Gadjah Mada, property development from the University of New South Wales, and public policy from SOAS.
