Mingda Liu

Mingda Liu is President of SEE Conservation and Council Chairman of SEE Foundation, as well as Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Shenzhen Mingda Asset Management. With nearly three decades of experience in securities investment, he is recognised as one of the earlier private-sector investors in China to systematically integrate ESG principles into investment decision-making. Mr Liu founded Mingda Asset in 2005 and has developed investment approaches that combine long-term value creation with environmental, social and governance considerations. Beyond his investment career, he has been deeply engaged in philanthropy and ecological conservation for more than a decade. As a lifetime member of SEE Conservation, he has supported environmental and charitable initiatives that connect entrepreneurial responsibility, responsible capital and sustainable development. His work reflects a belief that business leadership and ecological stewardship can reinforce one another, especially in areas such as desertification control, nature restoration and the mobilisation of entrepreneurs for public good.

刘明达现任阿拉善SEE生态协会会长、SEE基金会执行理事长，同时担任深圳市明达资产管理有限公司董事长兼首席投资官。他拥有近三十年的证券投资经验，被认为是中国较早系统性将ESG理念纳入投资决策的民间投资人之一。 刘明达于2005年创立明达资产，并逐步形成将长期价值创造与环境、社会及治理因素相结合的投资方法。除投资事业外，他十余年来持续参与公益慈善与生态保护。作为阿拉善SEE终身会员，他支持多项环境保护与公益项目，推动企业家责任、责任投资与可持续发展之间的连接。他的实践体现出一种信念：商业领导力与生态守护可以相互促进，尤其是在荒漠化治理、自然修复以及动员企业家参与公共利益等领域。
