Marc Sadler is a Manager for Environment and Climate Change in the East Asia & Pacific region at the World Bank. Based in Singapore, Marc manages the environment agenda in the Pacific, Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia and the climate agenda across the region. His previous roles with the WB were Manager for Climate and Carbon finance in the Climate Change Group; Program Leader for infrastructure and sustainable development for the European Union; Adviser on Risk and Markets; and Global Lead for Climate Smart Agriculture in the Agriculture Global Practice.
Before the WB, Marc was a consultant for the World Bank and FAO in Central Asia, Caucasus and Turkey on issues related to agribusiness and sectoral policy. Prior to this, he was a commodities trader based out of Central Asia. He has an M.A. in Jurisprudence from Trinity College, Oxford University.
