Biography
Lina Liakou is the Global Director for Engagement and Practice at the Resilient Cities Network, and currently serves as the network’s Acting Executive Director. She leads R-Cities’ global engagement strategy, supporting cities worldwide to address the complex intersection of climate, equity, and resilience. With over 15 years of experience working with local governments, including as Deputy Mayor of Thessaloniki, Greece, she has played a central role in advancing the urban resilience agenda through both public service and global partnerships.
