Johny Zou

Johnny Zou is the Founder of Honghub, China’s first accelerator community dedicated to “one-person companies” and AI-native solo founders. A seasoned venture investor, he has over 13 years of experience in USD venture capital and has helped build venture investment businesses and teams for leading funds. In recent years, he has focused on emerging opportunities in AI for Science and AI Creativity, identifying and supporting early-stage companies including Unknown Jun, Bingzhoushi, Vast, Pole Interactive, and Fansai. In September 2025, Johnny Zou launched Honghub in Hangzhou as a new type of startup acceleration community for the AI era. Unlike traditional cohort-based accelerators, Honghub adopts a rolling admission model without fixed batches, providing AI-native founders with flexible resources, community support, expert networks, and venture support. The platform aims to empower “super individuals” to build scalable ventures through human-AI collaboration.
