Dr. Jason Gulley is a Professor of Geology at the University of South Florida as well as a National Geographic Explorer and Photographer. His work has been published in a number of international publications, including: National Geographic Magazine, The New York Times, GEO magazine, The Guardian and National Wildlife Magazine.
Jason’s research and photography career has taken him on expeditions to all seven continents, from underwater caves in Florida, the Caribbean and Africa as well as to glacier caves in Alaska, the Arctic and the Mt Everest region of Nepal.
He has a PhD in geology from the University of Florida (2010), is a technical diving and rebreather instructor and is obsessed with manatees.
