Janet Ang

Janet Ang is Singapore's Non-Resident Ambassador to the Holy See and a veteran technology executive with 37 years of experience in the information technology industry, including leadership roles as Managing Director of IBM Singapore and IBM Vice President for Industry Solutions in Asia Pacific. She currently serves as Chairman of the Public Transport Council, Singapore Polytechnic, the Singapore Business Federation Foundation, and NUS Institute of Systems Science (NUS-ISS), while also holding several independent directorships. A former Nominated Member of Parliament (2021–2023), she is widely recognised for her contributions to public service and technology leadership, receiving Singapore's Public Service Star (2025) and Public Service Medal (2019).
