He Ting Ru

Ru has been an elected Member of Parliament for Sengkang GRC and Chair of the Sengkang Town Council since 2026. She has also worked in legal private practice and various legal roles in financial institutions and listed companies in London, Singapore and Frankfurt. Ru read Natural Sciences (Experimental Psychology) as an undergraduate, and also has Postgraduate Diplomas in Law, and Graduate Diplomas in Positive and Coaching Psychology. Beyond her professional experience in financial and capital markets, her areas of interest also include sustainable development beyond economic growth, and the impact of technology and development on the well-being of individuals and societies. She also is active in the IMF and World Bank Parliamentary Network, most recently speaking as a panellist during the Spring Meetings in Washington D.C. Most importantly, she is also mum to three active and amazing young boys, who most definitely keep her on her toes.
