Fitsum Gelaye leads the global resilience practice and engagement for African cities at the Resilient Cities Network. She is an urban designer and planner with years of experience in urban water resilience as well as holistic urban resilience planning in African Cities. Her work ranges from supporting program implementation to research on the topics of water resilience, sanitation, energy resilience, food security, climate services and capacity building/peer-to-peer learning. She holds a master's in City Planning and a bachelors degree in Architecture.
