Dr. Emi Gui is an energy transition and decentralized energy system expert with 20 years’ energy industry and research experience. Her work covers system-level transformative solutions and knowledge collaboration to strengthen the links between transition, development and society, such as in foresighting and planning for net zero energy systems, just and equitable fossil fuel transition, energy system connectivity, resilient infrastructure and society, distributed and decentralised energy systems, community energy, and consumer-centric service innovations in the utility sector.
She is an adjunct associate professor at Monash University (Malaysia), a member of Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition (CEET), and a graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors. Emi has a PhD in energy policy and economics from the University of New South Wales, and holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School in Australia and a Master of Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
