Daniel Liu

Daniel Liu is General Manager for the Indo-Pacific region at JinkoSolar, the world's #1 solar module manufacturer by shipment volume. Based in Bangkok, he leads commercial operations across 17 markets, having shipped 41 GW between 2018 and 2025 across the region's most dynamic and policy-complex solar markets. Starting with South Asia, he expanded his mandate to South and Central Asia before building the full Indo-Pacific operation it is today. Before JinkoSolar, Daniel held roles at GE through its Commercial Leadership Program and at Ford as Product Manager, and co-founded Bi-Win, an enterprise services company providing installation and maintenance solutions for chain businesses across the retail, beverage, and beauty sectors. He holds a Master's in Nuclear Technology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a Bachelor's in Material Physics from Wuhan University, a scientific grounding that sets him apart from most commercial leaders in the solar industry.
