Dr Bechara Saab ("Besh") is the CEO and Chief Scientist of Mobio, leading the development of globally accessible medical-grade digital tools that combine computer vision, psychobiometrics, AI, and clinically validated psychotherapy. A neuroscientist by training, he previously served as a Principal Investigator at the Zurich Psychiatric Hospital and earned his PhD from Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, where his research uncovered fundamental neural mechanisms linking curiosity, learning, and mental health. Passionate about mentorship and science communication, Besh is an Overseas Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, an Associate Editor at JMIR mHealth and uHealth and the Journal of Affective Disorders, and the recipient of the inaugural CIHR Award for Mentorship. He speaks internationally on digital health, neuroscience, and the use of unbiased psychological state data as standard practice within mental healthcare, as well as more broadly to optimise our global brain economy.
