Adrian Ow

Adrian Ow is at the forefront of ASEAN’s sustainability transformation — shaping strategies, financing solutions, and partnerships that move the region towards a low-carbon economy. As Managing Director & Head of ESG Strategy in Group Wholesale Banking at UOB, Adrian leads the design of sustainable finance frameworks, decarbonisation pathways, and sector-specific solutions that empower corporates, institutions, and SMEs to transition successfully.

Under his leadership, UOB was named 2026 Asia Pacifc Green & Sustainable Bank by The Asian Banker, 2026 and 2025 Best Wholesale Bank & Tranaction Bank for Sustainable Finance in ASEAN by The Digital Banker and 2026 Singapore Best Bank for Sustainable Finance by Euromoney. A strategic leader with over 20 years’ experience spanning banking, risk management, and business transformation, Adrian has worked at Standard Chartered, Barclays and Accenture before joining UOB.

Adrian’s influence extends beyond the bank and represents the bank at the Institute of Banking & Finance (IBF) Corporate Banking Industry Workgroup and the Law Society of Singapore (LSS) ESG Working Group. Holding an Executive MBA with Distinction (Dean’s List) from INSEAD, Adrian combines strategic vision with practical execution — helping ASEAN’s businesses capture growth opportunities in the sustainable economy while building resilience for the future.
