The transition to regenerative rural economies requires more than new technologies, policies or financing models. It requires a new generation of leaders who can work across disciplines and forms of knowledge, hold complexity, build relationships across sectors, and steward landscapes with a long-term perspective.
This session explores what it takes to cultivate these leaders—and to create the conditions in which they can thrive. With an ASEAN lens, we will consider how education, philanthropy, investment, policy and practice can come together to make rural stewardship an aspirational pathway for the next generation.
