Magdalene See is a culinary educator, television host and founder of Whisk & Fold, one of Singapore's most recognised baking communities. As part of the OCTAVE Culinary team, she designs hands-on experiences that celebrate food not simply as something we consume, but as a practice that connects culture, creativity and wellbeing.
Professionally trained in pastry at the Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver and having refined her craft under acclaimed French pastry chef Thierry Busset, Magdalene combines technical expertise with an approachable teaching style that makes traditional and contemporary cooking accessible to everyone. Whether guiding participants through heritage recipes or everyday techniques, she believes the kitchen is a place where confidence, curiosity and community naturally come together.
At all is well, Magdalene invites participants to rediscover cooking as an act of care—for ourselves, for those we share meals with and for the traditions that continue to nourish us across generations. Through food, she reminds us that wellbeing is often built through the simple rituals we practise every day.
