Dawn Kwan is an art psychotherapist and multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice explores creativity as a pathway towards healing, self-understanding and emotional resilience. Working across psychotherapy, community arts and visual practice, she creates spaces where making art becomes an invitation to slow down, reflect and reconnect with oneself.
Alongside her therapeutic work, Dawn has built an extensive artistic practice spanning more than four hundred paintings and numerous solo exhibitions. Her approach bridges artistic expression with psychological insight, helping participants discover new ways of understanding experiences that are often difficult to express through words alone.
Whether through brushstrokes, colour or conversation, Dawn's work encourages participants to trust the creative process as a companion in navigating change, cultivating self-compassion and discovering renewed possibilities for growth.
