Xiaoli Pan

Xiaoli founded Guan Video in Shanghai, a multi-award-winning content network focused on intellectual analysis of China, world affairs, and contemporary society. Within five years, the platform grew to reach more than 200 million subscribers across social media, making it one of China’s most widely followed independent content networks. Her work has also included the creation of “China Now,” a nationally top-rated current affairs program broadcast on Dragon TV, which has aired more than 300 episodes. Recognized for her contribution to public education and youth engagement, Xiaoli was elected as a Committee Member of the 54th All-China Youth Federation. She also serves as a Senior Fellow at the China Institute of Fudan University, a leading Chinese think tank. In 2023, Xiaoli founded China Academy (HK) Ltd, an independent, self-funded platform designed to connect the world with Chinese thinkers, institutions, youths influencers and perspectives from within China. Its mission is to facilitate deeper understanding and exchange at a pivotal moment in global affairs. Today, China Academy reaches tens of millions of people worldwide through digital media, social platforms, television, events, and institutional collaborations. Xiaoli’s team also operates ChinaNotJustTravelc.com, offering themed, immersive journeys designed to help international visitors experience China beyond conventional tourism. In parallel, the team works as a long-term content and strategic advisory partner to Chinese government, academic, and media institutions.
