Sofia Blount

Sofia Blount is a Senior Consultant Kanaloa/CORDAP. Sofia has significant expertise in marine conservation and Blue policy and diplomacy. Sofia leads strategic partnerships to accelerate global coral reef restoration through collaboration between governments, philanthropy, science and the private sector with Kanaloa and with the G20 Coral Research & Development Accelerator Platform (CORDAP). She was previously a Trustee of the Blue Marine Foundation for seven years, serves as a Trustee for the Global Returns Project and was Co-Founder and Director of Omnia Strategy LLP, a law firm advising organisations on human rights, environmental governance and stakeholder engagement. She holds a Master’s degree with Distinction in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge and has written about sustainability for The Times and The Sunday Times.
