Riza Aryani

Riza is Director of Research Practice at SecondMuse, based in Lombok, Indonesia. She manages research and analysis for programs company-wide, strengthening program design through data-driven insights.

With extensive field and research experience, Riza focuses on understanding how change benefits communities and the environment, particularly addressing challenges like tropical deforestation and rural development in Indonesia. She values the power of storytelling to illuminate how change affects different groups. Having worked directly with government stakeholders, communities, and farmers, Riza appreciates the complexities of translating data into practical action. Outside work, she enjoys hiking, snorkelling, relaxing at the beach, and learning to grow flowers.
