Parijat Chakrabarti

Parijat Chakrabarti is a Fritz Family Tech and Society Fellow at Georgetown University and co-founder of the Symbiocene Initiative where he focuses on designing and incubating transformative vehicles to accelerate green economy transitions. Parijat cut his teeth working on food systems transformations in East Africa as the region grapples with climate change, uneven globalization, and rapid technology uptake. In addition to his research, he has worked with various development organizations including the World Bank, FSD Kenya, and the William Davidson Institute. Parijat holds a PhD from Princeton University and a BA in Economics and Sociology from UC Berkeley.
