Biography

Dr. Minah Kang is Professor of Public Administration at Ewha Womans University in Seoul and President of the Korea Association of International Development and Cooperation (KAIDEC). She previously served as the first female Commissioner of Korea’s Board of Audit and Inspection and has advised the Korean government through several expert committees, including the Presidential Committee on the 4th Industrial Revolution and the Committee for International Development Cooperation.

She has been an active member of the W20 since 2018 and served as Co-Chair of its Working Group on Health during Indonesia’s 2022 G20 presidency. At Ewha, she has also held leadership roles focused on career development and women’s leadership.

Her research focuses on global health and governance, public accountability, international development, women’s empowerment, and evaluation and innovation. Her work has appeared in leading journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, Health Affairs, and Health Policy. She holds a Ph.D. in Health Policy from Harvard University, an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA from Ewha Womans University.
