Michelle Tay

Michelle Tay is the Executive Director of the Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM), driving the vision of a more gracious, resilient society. With over 20 years of experience across the public, private, and non-profit sectors, she specialises in bridging systemic gaps to foster sustainable social impact. Armed with a Master’s in Communication Management from SMU, Michelle champions everyday prosocial behaviours as foundational to collective flourishing. A dedicated community advocate, she has spent a decade volunteering with grassroots organisations and serves on the student advisory council of Mayflower Secondary School and the Panel of Community Advisors for Honour Singapore. At Impact Week, Michelle draws on this deep community experience to discuss how shifting from rigid metrics to organic, prosocial environments allows true well-being to emerge.
