Maureen Brésil

Maureen Brésil is the Impact Director of the Asia Ocean Fund, an ocean impact investment platform co-created by Katapult Ocean and OCTAVE Capital to accelerate ocean-positive innovation across Asia-Pacific.

She brings over 15 years of experience in large-scale industrial operations, including senior leadership roles as Process Engineer and Chief Technology Officer. Driven by a passion for nature, she transitioned into impact investing to help mobilize capital and partnerships toward a sustainable blue economy.

Prior to joining the AOF, Maureen was the CEO and Co-founder of KUL Loesningar 3, a Singapore-based family office through which she invested in impact-driven startups and projects focused on ocean health and environmental sustainability. She also played a key role in establishing Katapult Ocean Asia from Singapore, helping shape its regional partnerships and ecosystem engagement across Asia-Pacific.
