Kaushik has spent 17 years building social enterprises in rural India. He is Cofounder and CEO of Kheyti, which makes smallholder farmers climate-resilient by democratising access to climate-smart technology for the most underserved farmers. Kheyti's flagship product, the "Greenhouse-in-a-Box", is a low-cost greenhouse that doubles farmer incomes, cuts climate-driven crop losses by 60%, and grows crops on 1/50th the water and 70% fewer chemicals.
Bundled AI-enabled advisory ensures farmers succeed. Kheyti has reached 8,000 farmers directly and now works with multiple state governments to reach millions. Previously, Kaushik was on the leadership team at B-ABLE, which trains and places rural school dropouts. He is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur with an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a winner of the Earthshot Prize, Elevate Prize and Lipman Family Prize.
