Karin del Rey

Karin is an Investment Advisor at Rumah Investments, where she invests in and scales innovative solutions that positively impact our oceans.

Karin has spent the past years as both an operator and investor, working with early stage start-ups and VC in Asia. She drove fundraising, strategy and corporate development at Ula, an Indonesian tech start-up; ran the APAC office of Big Idea Ventures; and set the groundwork for Katapult's Asia Ocean Fund. She actively mentors and supports start-ups in climate tech, fintech and AI.

Previously she was a management consultant at McKinsey in the UK, South Africa and South East Asia, and worked as a Capital Markets banker in London across multiple debt solutions.

Karin grew up in Spain, graduated from ESADE Business School and has an MBA from INSEAD.
