Jonas Skattum Svegaarden

Jonas is the CEO of Katapult Ocean – the most active ocean impact venture fund globally. Katapult Ocean has invested in 90 ocean impact companies within maritime transportation, energy, circularity, water and food. The company has offices in Singapore, Cape Town and an headquarter in Norway.

Jonas has nineteen years of experience from global asset management. He joined Katapult after co-founding a successful sustainable investing hedge fund proving that profit and purpose can go hand in hand. The hedge fund is recognised as the best performing Nordic hedge fund and the only eco-labeled hedge fund in Norway. Jonas also spent nine years at Svenska Handelsbanken Capital Markets where he was responsible for the securities area. He is a board member of The Norwegian Advisory Board for Impact Investing – NorNAB, Katapult Foundation and serves as the CIO of Katapult with a portfolio of 190 venture investments, whereas 2 unicorns.
