Prof. Jatna Supriatna is a leading Indonesian conservationist and academic with more than four decades of experience in biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable development. He currently serves as Chairman of the Research Center for Climate Change at the University of Indonesia, Member of the Basic Science Commission at the Indonesia Academy of Science, and Board of Commissioner at PT Restorasi Alam Hijau, which focuses on ecosystem restoration and nature conservation. Previously, he was Regional Vice President for Indonesia at Conservation International.
Holding a Ph.D. in Bioanthropology from the University of New Mexico, Prof. Supriatna has been widely recognized for his leadership in conservation, environmental policy, and sustainable resource management.
