Hien Mai believes farmers who heal land shouldn't have to prove it with paperwork they can't afford. In 2023 she co-founded KarbonMap, a digital MRV platform making regenerative land use work at scale for the Global South. Working alongside smallholder communities, project developers, and funders, Hien and her team trace every carbon credit back to timestamped, geo-tagged work on the ground. So when land operators do good, they can prove it, and when they can prove it, they get rewarded. KarbonMap supports international and national carbon standards and agri-export compliance and is built to work for field users regardless of literacy, language, or connectivity.
