Hareesh Nair is the Chief Investment Officer of TPC, overseeing the group’s financial resources towards building an investment management business enabling the well-being mandate established by Chairman Chavalit Frederick Tsao.
Hareesh has over 20 years of experience in both investment management and operations leadership, developed across Asia and the United States within large multinationals, family businesses, investment conglomerates and private equity.
As an investor, Hareesh expanded Fosun International’s Healthcare Holdings across Asia, and prior was on the founding team of Quadria Capital, a leading Asian healthcare private equity group originally anchored by TPC and Medtronic. Hareesh started his investment career at Medtronic’s Corporate Development team, responsible for both M&A and growth stage investments. As a business operator, Hareesh served the board of SOHO Global Health, a prominent Indonesian family-owned, private-equity backed pharmaceutical group, leading to its IPO on JKSE. As COO of Engine Biosciences, Hareesh led the biotech’s expansion within the US, and started his career at Becton Dickinson and Gilead in engineering and finance roles, respectively.
Hareesh earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from The Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania.
