Eddie Chen

Eddie Chen has over 30 years of international experience spanning the United Nations, Europe, the United States, Singapore and China, with a career across diplomacy, government investment promotion, cross-border investment and sustainable finance. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of China Carbon Neutral Development Group Limited and Senior Advisor to UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD). From 2022, he served as Managing Director of Fullerton Fund Management, a Temasek-owned investment firm, and as a Partner of the Fullerton Asia Carbon Action Fund, focusing on decarbonisation and ESG investment across emerging Asian markets. From 2013 to 2022, Mr Chen was Senior Partner and Head of China at Eurazeo, where he led more than 20 cross-border investment and M&A transactions. He also served as a Partner of the France-China Cooperation Fund, established by Eurazeo and China Investment Corporation and launched in 2019 in the presence of the Presidents of China and France. From 2002 to 2013, he served as Vice President and Chief Representative in China of Invest Sweden Agency, facilitating more than 200 bilateral investment projects, including Geely’s acquisition of Volvo Cars. Earlier in his career, Mr Chen worked at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) headquarters in New York as Chief of the Information Technology Group, overseeing global IT strategy and operations and supporting information-industry development projects across developing countries. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University, and studied Computer Science at Fudan University in Shanghai.

陈永岚先生拥有30余年横跨联合国、欧洲、美国、新加坡及中国的国际化经验，长期深耕外交、政府投资促进、跨境投资及可持续金融领域。现任中国碳中和集团董事局主席、联合国贸易和发展组织（UNCTAD）高级顾问。 2022年起，他曾任淡马锡旗下富敦基金管理公司（Fullerton Fund Management）董事总经理，并担任Fullerton Asia Carbon Action Fund合伙人，专注亚洲市场的低碳转型及ESG投资。 2013至2022年，陈永岚先生担任法国Eurazeo集团高级合伙人兼亚太中国区总裁，推动20余宗跨境投资及并购项目，并担任中法合作基金（France-China Cooperation Fund）合伙人。该基金由中国投资有限责任公司与Eurazeo合作设立，并于2019年在中法两国元首见证下正式启动。 2002至2013年，他任瑞典政府投资促进署副署长兼驻华首席代表，推动超过200个中瑞跨境投资项目，包括吉利收购沃尔沃汽车等重要交易。 此前，他长期任职于联合国开发计划署（UNDP）纽约总部，担任信息技术中心主任，负责UNDP全球信息技术战略与运营，并参与多个发展中国家的信息产业发展项目。 陈永岚先生拥有纽约大学管理学硕士学位、美国东密歇根大学计算机科学学士学位，并曾就读于上海复旦大学计算机科学系。
