Dr. Douglas O'Loughlin is the Principal of The Dao of Thriving, an Associate Consultant with Civil Service College (CSC), and a Lecturer at Singapore Management University. He believes that organisations can be impactful and healthy, and that the wellbeing of a system and its people is a polarity that can be leveraged for a higher purpose.
Originally from New York, through a series of serendipitous events he ended up in Singapore in 1993, and has since worked across all sectors and in more than 20 countries. For a number of years, he has served on the Faculty at the Centre for Innovation (CHI) and as a Board Committee member with the National Volunteer and Philanthropic Centre (NVPC). He is the author of Facilitating Transformation and ANDlightenment, the co-editor of Creating and Holding Spaces, and is currently completing Making an Impact: A Practical Guide from Self to Systems.
