Courtney Savie Lawrence is a UN Global Senior Innovation Advisor at UNDP and co-lead of the C3 Labs. Her work sits at the intersection of climate, innovation, finance and technology and she holds 20 years of experience working in over 70 countries. Her North Star: how do we get from how things are to how they could be? Especially when we think about transitioning towards a regenerative world. Since 2018, she has worked with the United Nations (UNDP & UNICEF) and has co-lead several volunteer initiatives - including the Bangkok based Circular Design Lab, the Oxford Climate Tech Initiative, the School of International Futures NGFP Governance committee and published a book on Inclusive Innovation. Courtney holds a MBA from Oxford, with distinction, a MA in Sustainable Economic Development, and has lived and worked in Japan, Thailand, South Africa, Uruguay, the US and now France. She has also co-founded two impact companies and is named one of Climate Insider’s ‘20 Women Leading Climate Tech & Innovation.’ This year she also founded and designed the Impact Innovation Executive Education course focused on systemic design, applied AI, and conscious leadership, in Costa Rica, in partnership with the UN University for Peace.
