Charles Tan

Charles is Deputy Executive Director of Shared Impact Philanthropy at Asia Community Foundation. He brings over a decade of experience spanning social policy and programmes, sector strategy, and philanthropy. Before ACF, he held senior leadership roles at The Majurity Trust, conceptualising and launching pooled funds and innovative funding models supporting hundreds of nonprofits, charities, and ground up groups across Singapore. Earlier, he built the foundations of his career at the National Council of Social Service, where he pioneered new models of social services and programmes for vulnerable communities, and led implementation of the Social Service Sector Strategic Thrusts, a five-year roadmap shaping the vision and collective outcomes for Singapore’s social sector.
