Azelea Ayuningtyas

Azalea Ayuningtyas (Ayu) is the Co-founder and CEO of Birufinery, an agri-biotech venture producing tropical seaweed-based biostimulants. Ayu is a serial impact entrepreneur who has successfully built Du Anyam, a leading Indonesian social enterprise that works with over 1,200 women artisans in Eastern Indonesia, supplying quality crafts to B2B clients while empowering women, promoting culture, and improving livelihoods in rural Indonesia. She completed her Master's degree at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health in 2013 and worked for Simon-Kucher, a global strategy consulting firm in Boston prior to founding her social enterprises in Indonesia. Based on Du Anyam achievements, Azalea co-founded Krealogi in 2020, a digital ecosystem for Micro & Small Enterprises (MSMEs), to share Du Anyam learnings, system, and networks to over 17,000 MSMEs across 500 districts in Indonesia.
