Arun Nanda

Arun Nanda is the former President of Mahindra & Mahindra and Founding Co-Chair of the Si Labs Foundation, which is being established in Switzerland to co-create livelihood opportunities for millions of people in the age of artificial intelligence and automation. During more than 40 years with the Mahindra Group, he held several senior leadership and board positions and helped establish a number of companies in the services sector.

He now focuses primarily on the social sector, particularly initiatives that bring dignity, care and purpose to senior citizens. He is Managing Trustee of the Adhata Trust and the Blossoming Hope Trust, which support community centres, geriatric care and residential facilities near Mumbai. He has also held senior positions in major trade bodies, contributed to the B20 Task Force on Anti-Corruption, and was appointed Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur by the President of France in 2008.
