Ann Margret Francisco

Ann Margret Francisco is the Asia Pacific Director at the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), where she leads regional efforts to accelerate wind energy deployment across Asia. She works with governments, industry, development finance institutions and international partners to advance policy and regulatory reform, supply chains, financing, energy security and industrial development for onshore and offshore wind.

With 20 years of power-sector experience, Ann has held roles across the public and private sectors in electricity markets, renewable energy development and strategic advisory, covering wind, solar and hydropower.

At GWEC, she has led initiatives on offshore wind policy, auction design, port infrastructure, supply chains, socio-economic impact and regional cooperation. A frequent speaker at international energy forums, she advocates for wind energy as a driver of economic growth, industrial competitiveness and energy security across the Asia-Pacific region.
