Biography

Angel Yan works on systemic investing and systems change projects at Omplexity, a consultancy that helps wealth holders and organizations catalyze systemic transformation toward a regenerative future through participatory systems mapping. Omplexity's clients include Edmond de Rothschild Systemic Regeneration, Google, UNDP, the Walton Family Foundation, and the World Economic Forum. Her project experience spans the Edmond de Rothschild engagement, One Earth Alliance, and Hawaii Investment Ready.

As Initiative Assistant on the Systemic Investing Field Mapping (SIFM) initiative, she supports data analysis, systems mapping, and the writing of the field report. SIFM was launched in November 2025 with four anchor organizations: TransCap Initiative, TWIST, FEST, and Deep Transitions Lab. Its purpose is to accelerate and deepen systemic investing as a field by building the systems intelligence and relational infrastructure it needs next, so that capital can move from individual deals to systems change. She works across the initiative's mapping workshops and participatory research with the anchor organizations and the wider network.

Angel holds a BA in Foreign Languages and Literatures from National Taiwan University, and studied at the University of Maryland. Omplexity is where she began her career. She belongs to the generation now entering systemic investing, and she brings the curiosity, care, and long view that field building asks for
